THE GROUP IS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED FOR HEALTH REASONS. WE
WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED ON THE SITUATION.
When the group resumes it will meet at 10.30 a.m., once a month on the
4th Monday of each month.
For health reasons Ann, Clare and will have to change the nature of the
walks. We are not able to manage longer walks or climbs. Walks will vary
between 0.5 - 1 mile and will be on the level. The focus will be on short
guided walks. We will share our knowledge and research into the history,
culture, future plans, anything interesting about the area we live in. We hope
more members will come forward with local information to share with the
group.
The meeting places will be at or near a local bus stop or possibly train
station. We are happy to travel where the local buses can take us; from
Littlehampton, Ferring, Goring, Worthing, Lancing, Shoreham, Brighton;
beach, town, countryside and the Downs.
We have vacancies for new members. We also need volunteers to lead
walks. If we get a volunteer to help run the group we would be able to run
twice monthly walks again.
Terms and Conditions
It is the responsibility of all members to decide for themselves whether
they feel safe and comfortable to undertake these walks, which are at their
own risk. Members should wear suitable clothes and shoes for walking.
If a walk is cancelled, Heather will contact by email those who have
previously booked in, or by text if on the morning of the walk. If you decide
not to undertake a booked walk, then please let Heather know.
We regret dogs are not permitted on the walks.

We have vacancies for new members and for a leader, job-share, for longer walks.
